It is juuuuust right! My mom is so happy to have a chair that almost fits her little 5 foot 2 inch frame. Her feet still dangle about 2 inches from the ground. I would say that if you are between 5'4" - 5'8" this is a chair built for you. The part my mom is most happy with is the back headrest. Her head rests naturally with this design. Every other recliner she's ever had would not allow this because the headrest cushions met her right about the top of her head, pushing her head and neck forward---> causing all kinds of pain and exacerbating her Osteoporosis.
